National Cat Day recently passed, and we hope you had the best day celebrating with all of your kitties at home. Today, we're keeping the cat celebrations going by pumping up our feline energy on this purrfectly auspicious Caturday. We're choosing to celebrate the king of cats, the most meowjestic of all our little furry house lions, the floofiest of all fluffiness - the maine coon. And not just any maine coons, these babies below are not even one year old… and they're meowtrageously massive! They make your kitten at home look like the runt of the litter.

Imagine the hairballs these babies cough up! Maine coons can grow up to 25 lbs in weight and around 40 inches long - making them probably the largest domestic house cat. No one knows exactly where they came from, but we all know that we love them. They act more like dogs than cats, meaning that they are trainable, love adventure, and have even been known to play fetch! They make us feel cozy just by looking at all their glorious floof, but we also feel ugly in the presence of their pawsitively radiant beauty.

Okay, technically, ‘Thor’, the cat above, is just now 1 year old. So he's over the age limit, but still, being only 1 year old and half the size of your hooman father is pawsitively impurressive. Imagine the snuggles Thor gives though. It's like having your own purrsonal weighted blanket.
